"What Remains, God Uses to Restore"

Day 1: Intentional Growth

Reading: Matthew 7:7-11

Devotional: Jesus calls us to be intentional in our spiritual growth. Just as intentionality is a part of this church's DNA, we too must approach our relationship with God purposefully. When we ask, seek, and knock with genuine hearts, God promises to respond. Today, reflect on areas where you need growth. Are you consistently asking God for guidance? Seeking His will? Knocking on doors of opportunity to serve? Remember, God takes our holy intentionality and turns it into reality. Pray for the courage to be more intentional in your faith journey.

Day 2: The Power of Prayer

Reading: Philippians 4:6-7

Devotional: Prayer is our direct line of communication with God. It's not just about asking for things, but about building a relationship with our Creator. We're going to have an upcoming focus on prayer, recognizing its fundamental role in spiritual growth. Today, consider your prayer life. Are you approaching God with thanksgiving, even amidst requests? Are you allowing His peace to guard your heart and mind? Challenge yourself to spend extra time in prayer today, not just speaking but also listening for God's voice.

Day 3: Growing as a Disciple

Reading: 2 Peter 3:18

Devotional: Discipleship is a journey of continual growth. It is important to have a process for spiritual development. Growing in grace and knowledge of Jesus isn't passive – it requires active participation. Today, examine your spiritual disciplines. Are you regularly studying Scripture? Participating in worship and fellowship? Receiving communion? Choose one area to focus on improving this week. Remember, seeking God leads to finding Him in deeper, more meaningful ways.

Day 4: Serving with Purpose

Reading: 1 Peter 4:10-11

Devotional: Service is where faith meets action. The church has begun to increase our missional impact, let's keep it up and keep putting our hands to service. Each of us has been given gifts by God, not for our own benefit, but to serve others. Today, prayerfully consider how you can use your unique talents to serve God's kingdom. It might be through financial giving, volunteering, or using your skills to help others. When we serve others, we serve God Himself.

Day 5: Unity in Christ's Body

Reading: 1 Corinthians 12:12-27

Devotional: As members of Christ's body, we each play a vital role. Our individual growth contributes to the overall health and effectiveness of the church. Today, reflect on your place within your local church community. Are you actively participating? Supporting others? Allowing yourself to be supported? Pray for your church leaders and fellow members. Consider how you can contribute to the unity and mission of your church family, remembering that together, we form the body of Christ in the world.
